I love framed art grouped into 3’s but it can be so expensive to buy, especially when you’re wanting multiples. I was looking at the new Birch Lane catalog this morning and saw this picture on page 30 of the December 2014 catalog.
Above the banquette there is some lovely framed vintage lemon art. It is hard to see in this picture, the catalog image shows more of the room. I saw them and immediately thought, I bet I can find free printables which are just as lovely and I was right. I think the art below would look so nice in a bright, white kitchen like the one in the picture above. By sourcing the frames from Wal-mart and the mats from Michael’s you can attain this look for only $68. That’s pretty good for a group of 3 11 x 14 inch framed art pieces! If you scroll down to the end of this post, I have linked the web pages for the frames and the mats.
I found the images on the New York Public Library Digital Gallery. I’ve supplied you below with the .jpgs of the different pieces of art and powerpoint files which can be easily printed at Kinko’s, OfficeMax, Staples, etc. for a very low cost and put into an 8 x 10 frame or mat, or an 11 x 14 frame or mat. Just to give you an idea of the low cost, to print three letter size images is $1.80 at OfficeMax, and to print three ledger size images (which are 11 x 17) is $3.60.
I’ve included letter and ledger size powerpoints. These can be uploaded to your printing company websites and just printed in color on normal paper. The images are sized to 8 x 10 and 11 x 14 so they will fit in the opening of your frame or mat.
Click on any of the images below to open, right click on the image and select Save Image As.. and you can save them on your home computer.

Ledger Size (11 x 17) Powerpoint Files (11 x 14 image)
The frame you see in the image at the top of the page is from Wal-mart and costs $14.97. It is the Better Homes and Gardens Distressed 11 x 14 Picture Frame in Black. The site is linked below the picture.
The mat that I selected to go with this frame and picture that you see in the photo at the top is from Michaels. It is the cream and brown Studio Décor™ Pre-Cut Double Mat, 11″ X 14″ With 8″ X 10″ Opening. They are $6.99 each. The site for this item is again linked below the picture.
I’ve selected these sight unseen just by perusing the internet, so I suggest you check them out in person and use your own discretion before buying. Thanks for looking! Hope you’re able to enjoy some inexpensive framed art in your home.
